The Palazzo
Palazzo Boscareto owes its special beauty to its unique location in the heart of the historical center of Corinaldo, and to its history. Carefully restored, it fits in perfectly with a taste of tradition and all the comforts of modern living.
The town is “protected” by almost a kilometer of defensive wall, fortified gates, and guard towers that recall the attacks suffered or driven back. It unwinds along the streets and alleyways that evoke the medieval urban imprint of the village where, through time, municipal buildings, religious buildings, and tall bell towers have come to dominate. The Town Hall (Palazzo Comunale, an example of neoclassic architecture with a long gallery facing Via del Corso), the old Augustinian Convent (Convento degli Agostiniani), the Town Theatre (Teatro Comunale), the Library and Historical Archives (Biblioteca e Archivio Storico), the Gallery (Pinacoteca), the Piaggia (the stairway) with the famous Pozzo della Polenta (Polenta Well) and the Santa Maria Goretti shrine (Santuario di Santa Maria Goretti) are all just a short stroll from our home.
